Finishes & Wax Solid Oak Timber To make these solid wood oak dining tables we select top-quality, kiln-dried oak. Each solid oak table is cut to size and finished with protective oil. This leaves in lots of natural timber characteristics and features. Mother Nature's own stamp of approval. Due to the nature of solid wood, every oak table will be different. Truly unique. One of a kind. Please note: All sizes and weights given are approximate. As we only use natural, solid timber, measurements can change slightly from one piece to another. Protective Oil Finish To finish our oak dining tables we use a protective oil. The finish is professionally applied with the highest attention to detail. When viewing on screen, colours can look different from one screen to another. This makes it less reliable than seeing the real finished timber before your own eyes. Because you want the perfect colour for your home these finishes are available to purchase as small samples. Assembly & Care Easy Assembly The Stannington Solid Oak Dining Table does require some assembly, but it is really straightforward and comes with easy-to-follow instructions. Care & Clean Our Stannington Solid Oak Dining Table can be used indoors or outdoors. It comes with a protective cover, just in case you are going to use it outdoors.  If it is to be placed outdoors, we would recommend that when you're not using it, you use the cover provided to protect the table from the elements. Like all natural wood furniture, your outdoor furniture needs regular care and attention. We recommend that you refresh the finishes every year, using teak oil on the solid oak Delivery & Returns Turnaround & Delivery As these solid oak tables are handmade and made-to-order we do require some time for manufacturing. This will normally take 2 weeks. They will then be dispatched with a pallet delivery company. The courier will contact you directly to arrange a delivery date so please ensure to leave a contact number with your order. The delivery will be a roadside pallet delivery so we recommend that two strong people are available to carry the item into the home.
