Description
Spiraea betulifolia 'Island' is aptly named, for it creates the feeling of an island paradise in your very own garden. The plant's deciduous, green foliage is attractive and compact, particularly when it's grown in bright, sunny conditions. The Spirea is at its best in May and June, when its lush leaves sport fluffy, white flowers. These blooms are adored by animals, although thankfully these tend to be pollinating insects rather than exotic, island beasts!
