With its light-weight Rider-First EngineeredTM frame, the Tarmac can help you achieve your goals, whether that's setting new PRs, KOMs, or achieving podium top-steps. While aerodynamics were a primary focus during the Tarmac's development, weight was also important. Previous "aero bikes" tended to compromise weight for reduced drag. However, the new Tarmac is designed to be at or below the UCI weight limit, without sacrificing aerodynamics, stiffness, or ride quality. Thanks to the FreeFoil Shape Library, isotopic FEA analysis, and engineering expertise, the Tarmac's frame weighs only 920 grams. To develop the perfect race bike, the Tarmac has been designed with the Rider-First EngineeredTM philosophy. The result is a bike that's balanced, responsive, and comfortable to ride, regardless of its size. Based on feedback from test riders on our World Tour Teams, including Boels-Dolmans, Deceuninck-Quick-Step, and Bora-hansgrohe, we've balanced the ride quality between the front and rear end, so even the longest rides are comfortable.
