Specialized Speed of Light S-Works Tarmac SL7 Disc Road Bike 2022 The Specialized Speed of Light S-Works Tarmac SL7 Disc Road Bike blends the best of the previous Tarmac and the Venge to create a bike with an outstanding ride quality that's incredibly light, fast and stiff. Engineered from FACT 12r carbon, developed using the brand's FreeFoil Library and undergoing Win Tunnel testing, the tubing is shaped to slice through the wind, with this being the fastest Tarmac to date. The bike is well-balanced and handles incredibly well across the range of sizes thanks to Rider-First Engineered™ design. Specialized has retained the Performance Road Geometry of the SL6 which makes for an aggressive ride position that's still comfortable hour after hour in the saddle. Built up with SRAM's top-drawer RED eTAP AXS electronic groupset, the weight of the complete bike is kept around the UCI lower limit. The intuitive wireless shifting is extremely smooth and precise across the 12-speed cassette, and hydraulic disc brakes are reliable and powerful in all conditions. Every detail of this bike has been well considered, and small extra touches further enhance performance, such as CeramicSpeed coated pulley wheels and a CeramicSpeed bottom bracket, which both reduce friction. A crank-based SRAM RED power meter is included, allowing those more dedicated to their performance the opportunity to monitor outputs and train more efficiently. The bike rolls on Roval's latest CLX Rapide wheels, fast all-rounders that are aerodynamically designed yet light, and stable in crosswinds. Turbo Cotton clincher tyres are supple and grippy, providing an unmatched ride feel. The S-Works Power saddle provides the perfect finishing touch to this build, putting you in an aggressive, racy position.
