A proven racer winner, the Roubaix is used to battling the tough conditions of Paris-Roubaix with great success. The Roubaix has proven that Smoother is Faster. Traditionally a smooth ride meant sacrifices, often in riding efficiency, but not anymore. The new Roubaix Expert now delivers compliance without compromise through the use of Specialized's Future Shock 2.0 providing you with more control and damping options. Future Shock provides 20mm of axial travel, taking the pressure and strain off your hands, arms and neck - keeping you fresher for longer. The latest Roubaix also features a new Pavé seatpost that creates the most balanced Roubaix to date. Aerodynamics have also been significantly improved for this latest generation, in fact, the Roubaix is now able to equal the Tarmac in terms of aero. Specialized Rider-First Engineering has also been applied to the Roubaix to create a frame that is perfectly balanced in stiffness and weight across all sizes, ensuring all riders receive the same ride quality. Whilst the Roubaix may be extremely comfortable, don't be fooled into thinking it's a 'just' comfort bike. Roubaix has been designed with performance in mind to create a super fast and super comfortable bike that's suited to all kinds of road riding. The 2022 Roubaix Expert doesn’t come with any compromises. Specialized spec'd Shimano's latest Ultegra R8100 12-speed electronic groupset for its crisp shifts and powerful hydraulic disc brakes. The fast yet lightweight Roval C38 carbon wheels have also been fitted to the Expert along with 30mm Turbo Pro tyres, and their fan-favourite - Power Expert saddle. The ideal blend of aerodynamics, compliance and lightweight is provided by the FACT 10r carbon fibre and unique tube shapes developed through Specialized's FreeFoil Shape Library.
