In addition, this frame incorporates a RockShox/Rx XC Tune 100mm travel rear damping unit into its sophisticated rear suspension format, and this partners with the RockShox SID SL fork to deliver 100mm of plush suspension, front and rear, over the most demanding courses. Both the rear shock and the fork integrate Specialized’s Brain inertia technology that intuitively and automatically firms or softens the travel in line with the terrain. This technology ensures a smooth, controlled ride over rocks and roots but exceptional pedalling efficiency when the power is laid down on demanding climbs. Roval Control SL carbon rimmed wheels are reactive and robust, lurching forward when the rider’s effort increases and darting nimbly through tight turns. These wheels are driven by the SRAM X01 Eagle AXS 12-speed drivetrain, which shifts through its wide range of gears with exceptional accuracy thanks to its wireless electronic configuration.
