The Specialized Epic Evo Expert takes the unrivalled pedalling efficiency, nimble handling and lightweight chassis of the Epic and adds and extra injection of capability. The Epic Evo Expert features a 120mm RockShox SID Select+ fork up front with a 110mm RockShox SID LUXE Select+ shock in the rear, with new suspension kinematics letting you make the most of every millimetre of travel beneath you. The Epic Evo Expert makes superbly light work of technical singletrack and the most demanding descents, without taking anything away from your pedalling efficiency. The new Epic Evo combines the most progressive XC race geometry ever found on a Specialized Epic with versatility and adaptability. With a flip-chip equipped rear end enabling you to adjust the headtube angle and bottom bracket height, you can fine tune the handling characteristics of the Epic so it's just right for your preferred riding style. SRAM's X01 Eagle 12 speed groupset provides slick and smooth shifting over a huge range of gears letting you rip down descents with speed, and climb straight to the top to go again with plenty of gears to pedal the steepest gradients. The Epic Evo is fast, really fast. But it's incredibly well controlled too. The X-Fusion Manic dropper post is infinitiely adjustable with a shifter style remote for fuss-free operation when you need it, letting you get your weight over the back end on the dicey descents. 4 piston SRAM G2 RS brakes provide only a tiny weight penalty, but they more than make up for it with smooth and controllable stopping power and perfect modulation that keeps the speed of your machine in check. Tubeless ready Roval Control carbons rims have a long World Cup race lineage, featuring a 25mm internal rim width providing an ideal tyre profile for optimal grip on the trails.
