The Specialized Chisel 2022 is a purpose-built, budget-friendly cross country MTB that is well suited to both trail cruising and racing.The Chisel shares many of the same modern features as the Epic Hardtail, but in a more cost-effective package. This makes the Chisel an incredibly efficient and capable alloy hardtail.The Chisel's frame utilizes D'Aluisio Smartweld technology that moves the hydroformed tube joints away from the areas of the highest stress, making the finished frame's balance of strength, rigidity, and weight more pronounced than any alloy frame in history. This not only makes the Chisel one of the lightest alloy hardtail frames coming in as light as 1,350g, but it also allows for tuned frame stiffness across all sizes.The Chisel has been given SRAM's SX Eagle 12-speed groupset to provide you with a massive range of gears to suit any form of MTB riding. The SRAM Level T hydraulic disc brakes will be able to provide reliable stopping power and the Specialized alloy wheels are also tubeless-ready.
