The Ambush ANGi is Specialized’s top of the line trail helmet and incorporates two of the latest bits of helmet tech, MIPS and ANGi. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is designed to protect your head from glancing blows. MIPS allows your helmet to move in a controlled way on impact to absorb some of the force of a crash, reducing the shock to your brain. If you are unlucky enough to have a bad crash your ANGi sensor will detect it and send an alert with your GPS coordinates to your emergency contacts.
