It moves away from being a pure race bike, to create a very light build that delivers a supreme ride quality, handles incredibly well and will excel on all types of roads. Key to the design are subtle changes in the tube shapes and in the layup of the FACT 10r carbon, successfully resulting in balance, stiffness and durability. SRAM's electronic, fully wireless Force eTap components take care of shifting performance, ensuring smooth precision, and there are plenty of gears offered by the 12-speed configuration to handle both the ups and downs. Even in the rain, braking is powerful and confidence-inspiring thanks to hydraulic discs. Roval Alpinist CL wheels are super light, perfect for climbing, but just as capable everywhere else. They're strong, stiff and roll smooth and fast on S-Works Turbo 26mm tyres. If you want to go wider still, the frameset is compatible with tyres up to a 32mm width. Specialized have included the Roval Alpinist carbon seatpost, one of the lightest out there and offering plenty of adjustabilities to help dial in the perfect position.
