Specialized 2FO Roost Clip MTB Shoes If you like hitting the trails as much as you like the post-session pub trip with friends then the Specialized 2FO Roost Clip MTB Shoes could be the new shoe for you. Don't let the clean aesthetics fool you though, the 2FO Roost is packed with performance features from the decades of Specialized MTB experience. The EVA foam cushioned midsole with Body Geometry technology not only helps to absorb hard impact from the trails but its ergonomic design also helps to boost power and efficiency as well as minimise the chance for injury thanks to the optimised hip, knee and foot alignment. This engineered sole is combined with a Relaxed Fit last to give you power through the pedals but comfort when you aren't pushing the pace. To further boost performance, the shoe uses a Lollipop nylon composite plate over the cleat for maximum power output through your pedals. The nylon composition of the plate still gives flex where you need it though and normal walking ability is minimally affected. Walking and pedal grip is boosted by the SlipNot FG rubber sole that keeps you gripped to the pedals and the pavement. You would be hard-pressed to find a more versatile and comfortable MTB shoe than the 2FO Roost, it will work however you want to use it and whatever the trails may throw at it.
