Sorcier is a quirky and non-conformist wall light inspired by ritual Ngil masks from the Fang people from Gabon. Made completely from metal, this large wall light (H 46.5 cm) gives off light via the perforations in the mask. The light is also projected upwards, it shines via a projection that is both gentle and graphical. More than a light, Sorcier is a real light sculpture which decorates the wall with its original and graphical presence. It is an ideal item, hung on a wall like an urban relic. The wall light changes its personality in line with the range of colours, textures and openings which differ for each version. The Sorcier wall light is the work of Marta Bakowski. This French designer of Polish origin creates items which celebrate colour and material with simple and graphical shapes and a basic functionality.
