High Resolution Audio means studio quality sound, just as the artist originally intended. Based on encoding and playback at a higher sampling rate than standard, high and low frequencies are extended for a greater level of detail across the whole sonic range.

With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi you can connect to your smart device wirelessly in an instant, to stream your music and give your favourite tunes a spectacular new lease of life, or connect to online music streaming services. The HDMI eARC connection allows you to connect to your TV with a single cable, while a USB port means you can play music straight from USB stick.
Expandable, with Sound Field Optimisation
The HT-A7000 is compatible with Sony's SA-SW5 and SA-SW3 sub-woofers, and SA-RS3S rear speakers, for an even greater level of surround immersion (all sold separately). Whether you have additional speakers added or not, the HT-A7000 uses Sound Field Optimization to intelligently measure and optimise the sound for the room it's in.
Dual voice assistant compatability
The HT-A7000 soundbar features dual voice assistant compatibility, working with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. To activate this feature simply speak to your voice assistant commander to play or stream your favourite tracks whilst controlling the audio on the soundbar.
