Description
Designed to offer a firm support, the Amethyst mattress is upholstered in a durable damask fabric and features an interior made up of body contouring pocket springs. The mattress benefits from a traditional hand tufted finish thats applied by passing nylon tapes through it at regular intervals and secured on both side by cotton tufts. The core of the mattress is made up of small diameter pocket springs with each coil housed in its own cloth sleeve and free of any surrounding springs. The springs are able to move freely so the load on one is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body. A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width. The mattress is designed to be one-sided and does not need to be flipped over, but regular rotation from head to toe will enhance its support, comfort and longevity.
