32 cm wide Veli table lamp with plum-coloured edges The Veli table lamp in “plum” was not given an everyday colour. The Veli table lamp – as well as the different versions of the Veli hanging and ceiling lights – is manufactured by the designer lighting company Slamp, which has been in Rome since the beginning of the 1990s. Slamp is distinguished by two characteristics in particular: the first is the will to always do top quality work, creating products that will provide pleasure for a long time. Every single light is made with dedication and consists of exquisite materials. And that's the second thing: the Slamp designer lighting company uses a wide range of materials, including extremely innovative materials. Of course, these include classics such as leather or crystal, but many of the lights are made of specially developed materials. The material used in the Veli table lamp is Opalflex. This material is – as the name suggests – opal white. The light shines optimally through the Opalflex, without the light bulb itself being visible. It also has very practical benefits: Opalflex is very durable and light. For example, the table lamp is 32 cm tall and 22 cm wide, but weighs just 0.55 kg. This makes it very easy to move. This light uses an 11 W light bulb, which ensures a sufficient but cosy light. The Veli table lamp has an IP code of IP20.
