The exclusive luminaire was created according to a design by architect Zaha Hadid. Hadid has already received worldwide recognition and numerous awards for her extraordinary architecture, such as for the Phaeno interactive experience museum in Wolfsburg or the London Aquatics Centre. The shape of the Avia pendant lamp is reminiscent of an architectural structure and at the same time has an urban style. 50 different layers of Cristalflex®, a special plastic developed by Slamp, have been combined to create an eye-catching shape through which the lamps provide unique lighting.
