We use three comfort layers of ingenious Simba Renew ™ in our cot bed mattress – but in three different densities to achieve the correct levels of firmness for new-borns babies and toddlers: a firmer upper layer on the Baby side provides the flat support required for babies up to 12 months boosted by another medium-firm layer nearer the mattress core; a softer comfort layer on the Toddler side ensures your child is gently cushioned as they grow. The Hybrid® Cot Bed Mattress has a double-sided design. They've added helpful Firmer/Softer labels to each side of the mattress so you'll always know which side is which. Firmer for Newborns - Newborns and babies need firmer support; their bones are still soft so it’s important they lie flat and straight – hence the firmer Baby side of our mattress. Softer for 1-3 years - As babies grow into toddlers and their body shapes change they need more responsive cushioned comfort. All damages and discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Goods should be returned in their original packaging where possible. Please do not dispose of your old bed or mattress until the new one arrives and you are happy with it. UK Mainland delivery only. All mattresses supplied by the Supplier will benefit from a 200 Night Sleep Trial in terms not materially different than those set out in the Supplier’s e-commerce website Terms and Conditions (which may be reviewed at https://simbasleep.com/pages/terms) at Clause 8B of those Terms and Conditions save that the extended right of cancellation shall be for 200 days.
