The podium topping Wire Carbon Road Shoe is also available for women who want the ultimate performance from their road cycling shoes. The Women's Wire is packed full of the same performance tech as the mens shoe, but has been designed with a woman's foot in mind. The last used is slightly tapered to mimic a womens foot shape and is narrower across the ball of the foot. The heel cup is narrower to hold the foot in place well, and there is slightly less volume across the instep. The Vent Carbon Sole is super stiff for optimal power transfer, and a replaceable heel pad for if you have to put your foot down a little too often! The vent aspect is a great feature which allows you to adjust how much airflow you get through the toe with a simple screw adjustment. The Soft Instep 3 and Tecno-3 Push closure system means you are able to get a comfortable fit without putting too much pressure in one place, and have the ability to make micro-adjustments without getting out of the saddle (although we wouldn't recommend that!).
