The Sidi Adventure Mid 2 Gore CE Motorcycle Boots are a mid-length version of the ultimate Gore-Tex touring/adventure boot. Full Grain microfiber is not affected by aging and all its features are meant to be long-lasting. The material is lighter than Leather and has high mechanical properties including outstanding tensile strength, tear resistance and flexing endurance. The boots also have a Gore-Tex Membrane which contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square cm (9 billion pores per square inch). These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. This means that any water/moisture from the outside will not be able to penetrate and reach the rider, yet perspiration can escape easily, so that less moisture is trapped in the insulation. This allows the rider to stay warmer when its cold and perspire effectively in warmer months.For rider protection the Boots have a plastic support in the ankle and reflective inserts have been used on the back to increase the visibility of the rider for other road users, which is ideal when riding in poor, low or night time light conditions. The high quality protection and safety features included in these boots have allowed them to reach the basic health and safety requirements of European Directive 89/686/EEC.For further rider comfort, the Boots have a nylon inner sole and removable arch support and inner gaiter for added support. The Boots use a Velcro strap closure along with two buckles.
