These side panels measure 45cm high so it can be used to create a fantastic growing bed with a depth that is sufficient for most rooted crops such as carrots and potatoes. Being dark in colour, it has the advantage of absorbing heat which will help germination in the early spring, and then in the summer it's dark sides will add a pleasant contrast to the colourful plants and flowers growing in and around. This corrugated side panel is designed to be used with 3 other panels and 4 corner panels to construct the full raised bed. If you are looking to make your own or replace a part from your existing raised bed then look no further. Please note: the metal sheets all have a plastic covering that requires removal before assembly. This covering protects the paint during transit and therefore is beneficial to the unit, however it is tricky to remove especially on the corner pieces.
