Habitat Shrimps Rattan Shade And Ceramic Base Table Lamp

Part of the limited-edition Shrimps for Habitat collection, this statement lamp combines a hand-painted ceramic base with a handwoven rattan shade. Painted by hand in Portugal, Shrimps founder Hannah Weiland purposely wanted the check pattern on the lamp base to feel a little wonky to add to its unique, hand-crafted appeal. The rattan shade is handwoven in India and creates beautiful shadows when lit. Inspired by 1970's Palm Springs, the second Shrimps for Habitat collection combines handwoven rattan with an uplifting colour palette of sunshine yellow, vanilla cream and sage green, with touches of soft pink and sky blue. New hand drawn, painted patterns and artworks have been created especially, with the collection extending outside of textiles and into new furniture and lighting pieces for the home.
