The XT M8020 27. 5" TLR Front Wheel from Shimano is a disc brake compatible trails wheel that brings high performance technology to a affordable price point. These wheels are lightweight, strong and durable with a 24C (27. 9 mm external) UST Tubeless and tubed tyre compatible clincher rim for use with 2. 0 - 2. 35 inch tyres. This rim is laced to the hub using 28 butted 2. 0-1. 8-2. 0 mm stainless steel spokes. The hub features an alloy hub shell that uses angular contact bearings designed to cradle the balls giving both radial and lateral support as well as offering precision bearing adjustment and easy maintenance. The ball bearing races are ground with Cubic Boron Nitride tool for high precision and double contact seals help keep the grease in and the dirt out. The hub uses wide bearing placement gives excellent lateral rigidity further improving strength and durability and features easy to use centre-lock disc rotor mounts.
