The revolutionary front drag/small size technology of the Shimano Baitrunner DL is available to a large extent, at a lesser price, with the Shimano 10000 Baitrunner ST reel. Activating the baitrunner lever puts the reel into free spool, paying outline after a bite until you are ready to make the strike.
