As its name indicates, the collection from the Antwerp designer essentially goes back to basics. The monolithic plans, the paired-down geometric outlines, the raw materials and the elements in all their simplicity evoke the industrial revolution with a quirky tone. The materials come to life and shape out-of-the-ordinary lamps. The Essentials lamps are a combination of brutalism and sophisticated details.
