Let there be light: that was the inspiration behind Ann Demeulemeester’s range of lit vases for Belgian design label Serax. The Lys comprises a slim curved cylinder of frosted glass, tapered at the base and tip, that's set atop a circular base crafted from smooth ash wood. This has an integral LED light built into it, which can simply be used for an ambient glow – or to dramatically display a single flower.
