Seiko watchmakers often draw inspiration from their local history, culture and surroundings – the Presage Craftsmanship Series celebrates the Japanese ‘Takumi’ – timepieces which are individually handcrafted by master artisans combining Seiko’s latest watchmaking techniques with centuries of traditional artistry. In this new design, the white enamel dial of this piece has a clear layout with a classic case style, whilst its muti-row bracelet fits comfortably on the wrist. The enamelling on each ‘Craftsmanship Series’ limited edition dial is undertaken by Japanese Takumi craftspeople by hand, using traditional techniques usually found in art and design pieces. This watch is powered by the new in-house built Seiko 6R55 calibre with an extended three-day power reserve.
