The dial is set with luminescent hour markers and hands with a date window at 3 o’clock. Powered by an automatic movement with a 200 meter water resistance, the piece is finished with a durable green rubber strap. Seiko's King edition watches are upgraded versions of the Original editions. Upgrades include: a three-dimensional dial rather than a flat two-dimensional dial, a scratch resistant ceramic bezel ring instead of aluminium, a date magnifier for easy reading and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass replacing the Hardlex, toughened mineral crystal.
