The re-designed dial layout with arrow shaped hour and sharp minute hands alongside differentiated markers at 12, 6 and 9 provide high legibility at depth. Every detail is high quality with Zaratsu polishing adding a refined beauty and sharpness to the lugs and sapphire crystal glass for durability. The accordion-style silicone strap combines high durability and comfort - a strap design invented by Seiko in 1975 as a practical solution to the expansion and contraction of a diver's wrist at different depths.
