This stunning handblown art glass bowl is made of thick high quality glass, & features charming pastel shades of green, pink, & blue alternating streaks over clear light yellow glass background. There are bullicante (controlled bubbles) details crafted up along the sides. The elongated vase shape is very elegant, which grows wider into an oval towards the top, blooming outwards like a flower. Based on our research, it appears this vase was made by the Czech glass company Mstisov Glassworks, & designed by Hana Machovsk in the late 1950s to early 1960s as part of the Pizzicato Collection. This vase is vintage, crafted with very thick glass & high quality made. The color appears to have been made while it was hand blown & incorporated into the glass, not painted on the surface like cheaper glass which eventually fade away or scratch off.
