Jute comes from one of the fastest growing plant types and its long, strong fibres make it ideal for weaving.  The flat weave style is hand woven on a traditional loom and no machinery is involved. Each one is unique. CARE OF YOUR RUG - The finished piece is reversible meaning that it can be rolled up when not in use. It can be shaken, or spot cleaned if necessary. If placing on a hard floor with heavy footfall, then you may wish to use rug mesh or similar to hold the rug in place.
