Description
The Forma snowboard with fish tail offers agile, playful handling in deep powder. Despite the soft flex, it still offers enough stability for controlled carving turns in all snow conditions. An excellent powder surfer, but also comfortable on the slopes. Season Eqpt. was penned by pro snowboarder Austin Smith and ski legend Eric Pollard. Each model is unisex and designed to last for years and decades. Riding style An all-mountain/powder board for advanced riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. While there is still enough edge grip for fast turns on hard slopes. Shape With the Directional Shape the nose is slightly wider than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly offset to the back. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder. The Fish Tail extends the effective edge at short board length, for fast, lively turns in powder. Profile This board comes with a classic camber under the bindings and a rocker section in the nose. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in powder and gives it an enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge grip, pop and fast power transmission. Construction The paulownia and poplar wood core is very light and offers a lot of pop. The 360wrap ABS Sidewall offers double the vibration dampening of standard sidewalls for a more stable ride. The sintered base is an industry standard for high-quality surfaces. It offers a good balance between the speed achieved by a hard surface and good wax adhesion.
