Release date 29th March 2024 Seasons spent working with the world’s top players led to the development of the newest Phantom 7. With updated contours, slightly longer wings and a subtle shape shift to a straighter outside wing angle going back from the topline, this updated Tour-trusted design puts an emphasis on alignment, stability and MOI. Three machined sight dots on the topline accented in translucent smoke paintfill create the perfect visual centre, while the elongated sight lines framing a newly shaped flange instill confidence at address. Precision milled 303 stainless steel provides perimeter weighting and the foundation for a solid dual-milled face, as lightweight 6061 aircraft grade aluminium forms the sole/flange component. Engineered for the ideal centre of gravity (CG) depth and desired moment of inertia (MOI), the Phantom 7 leverages the line’s newly created full contact grip and a stepless steel shaft with a single mid-bend aimed down the target line for a nearly-face balanced stable, high-MOI mallet. FULL CONTACT GRIP - Each Phantom model features the new Full Contact paddle-style grip, custom-designed for the line. Tapered at both ends and uniquely shaped for optimal in-hand feel, this new grip is crafted at the ideal size, weight and form with a “chain link” texture reminiscent of the feel of the Tour-preferred “Baby T”, ensuring reliable contact with the putter in all weather conditions. The larger flat surface of the paddle assists the player’s face angle awareness at address, making squaring up to the ball easier. DUAL PURPOSE ALIGNMENT - Triple milled sight dots painted a translucent smoke hue on the topline paired with two long sight lines in the flange frame the golf ball and provide confident rail-like alignment. MID-BEND SHAFT TECHNOLOGY - The stepless steel shaft has been engineered to minimise face rotation—or arc—in the putting stroke by incorporating a single “mid” bend aimed directly down the target line.
