This is the bike if you want confidence when the terrain gets tough. The Genius has been designed so it goes up the hills as well as goes down, SCOTT has designed it in search of balance. Compared to the previous version of the Genius the new model is slacker, has a longer reach, shorter chainstays and a steeper seat angle. The geometry balances out the long front end to allow for more stable descending. The result of all this research is a bike that climbs like a bat out of hell and gets you down the mountain faster than you can say "dropping!". After many years of testing the geometry is a result of taking everything you want from a bike and building it. The eRide 930 has a Bosch Purion display which offers many high-tech features and integrates nicely into the cockpit. The screen is now integrated into the body of the remote control to save space, but the information is still easy to read. Two buttons on the control panel allow you to edit the level of assistance, the information displayed and control the walk assistance. The e-mountain bike mode adjusts the motor-assist automatically in regards to torque without shifting. The turbo mode offers the highest level of assistance with 340% pedal assist.
