Vintage Danish Pottery Ceramic Table Lamp. This is part of a new collection of stock. Because it hasn't been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange & old gold. Medium sized mottled dusky orange / sandy brown Danish studio pottery lamp. Matt mottled dusky orange glaze with a lightly textured relief design. Probably designed by Einar Johansen as all the similar designs are attributed to him. Made by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark in the 1960s/70s. 25cm high, including the original Bakelite lamp holder, & 12cm wide at the base. Excellent vintage fully working condition. It will be rewired with a vintage style braided cable, with a new switch, retaining its original Bakelite lamp holder. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Australian/NZ or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). in the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included). If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. See FAQs for full details.
