Soholm Pottery Danish Blue Ceramic Table Lamp This is part of a new collection of stock. Because it hasn't been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange & old gold. We recommend that dark blue, dark brown, & black will all work well with this lamp. Medium sized midnight blue ceramic table lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s Features a rustic unglazed espresso brown neck & a glossy midnight blue glaze with mottled copper highlights & a textured relief design. Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Stentoj (Pottery) on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s. Has manufacturer's details & designer's initials etched on its base plus it retains its original sticker. 26cm high including the lampholder, & 10cm wide at its base. Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age. It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable & a new switch, retaining its original lamp holder. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ plug or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). in the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included). If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
