Description
Manufactured to Crib 5 specifications, the Dorchester mattress is specifically designed for use in the commercial establishments and the hospitality industry. Offering a medium and comfortable support, its fully upholstered in a durable and breathable 100 cotton striped fabric and features layers of white fibre fillings. The core of the mattress is made up of totally independent small diameter pocket springs, with each spring individually wrapped in its own cloth sleeve. Not directly attached to any surrounding springs, they are designed to push back against the sleepers body weight to provide piston-like support. Designed to be one-sided, the mattress does not need to be flipped over, but regular rotation is recommended to enhance its support and comfort. Crib 5 contract trade mattresses must comply with strict BS7177 ignition fire regularity standards that go further than those required for domestic use. Although Crib 5 mattresses are designed for the commercial market, many are bought for use in the family home due to their strict fire regularity standards.
