Santa Cruz Stigmata CC 700c Rival Gravel Bike 2021 The Santa Cruz Stigmata CC 700c Rival Gravel Bike 2021 combines years of mountain bike experience and tech with a modern Gravel frame to make one of the most versatile bikes on the market. The Stigmata first appeared in the early days of the gravel bike in 2015. Since then, Santa Cruz has spotted trends in the market and updated the Stigmata as needed while keeping the original versatile style frameset that many fell in love with. A new update to the frame is the improved geometry which is now better adapted to smaller riders, with the Stigmata now able accommodate riders from 5'3" and up. Another key update is the borrowing of carbon technologies from the Santa Cruz Highball XC bike which helps to keep key power areas like the BB shell stiff, but key comfort areas are still compliant to keep the ride smooth when seated on rougher trails. This model's specification is great value for money with a dependable 1x11 SRAM Rival groupset pairing an 11-42 Cassette with an Easton 40t crank, meaning even the steepest roads can be conquered. SRAM knows there is nothing worse than a dropped chain on bumpy terrain so the Rival 1x gearing helps to minimise the chance of this happening thanks to the use of a clutch derailleur. The drivetrain powers dependable DT Swiss 370 hubs laced to WTB EZR rims; a perfect combo for mixed-terrain riding. Out of the box you have Maxxis Ravager 40mm tyres fitted, perfect for on and off-road gravel riding, but a quick swap out to slicker road tyres would allow this bike to be a great endurance road machine as well.
