Description
The legendary Santa Cruz Hightower has returned for 2021 and promises to be one of the highlights of the brand’s MTB range. Featuring lower-link mounted shock design and adjustable geometry, The Hightower is the ultimate tamer of the trails. The mid-ground between the long travel Megatower and the agile short travel Tallboy, The Hightower offers all round excellence, descending like a demon whilst remaining stiff on responsive on the climbs. The VPP suspension’s lower-link-mounted shock blasts over obstacles of all shapes and sizes of all sizes whilst 140mm of rear travel/150mm front fork gives fantastic support and is slightly increased when compared to the previous model. The advanced composite carbon frame is incredibly responsive and handles brilliantly across all terrain types. The 2021 Hightower also features the new Flip Chip. This amazing piece of tech allows you to change the height of the threaded bottom bracket by putting it in high setting for technical trails or to run plus size tires and using low setting to provide additional bottom-out resistance. The main frame has room for a water bottle and has refined cable routing for ease of installation and to improve shift performance. Furthermore, there’s a tailgate shuttle guard, downtube protector, shock fender, and noise-cancelling chainstay protector keeping things quiet. The Carbon framed models are offered in 5 different spec levels (R to XX1 RSV) with the componentry and build materials being upgraded as you move up the range. The Hightower comes in sizes S to XXL ,colours grey or ember and from the XT spec level and up you can upgrade to Reserve Carbon rims. You also get Santa Cruz lifetime frame warranty and lifetime pivot bearing replacement policy.
