Nestling into the lineup between the long-travel Megatower and downcountry Tallboy, the Hightower is an impressive climber that is more than capable on chunky descents. With the revised, lower-link driven VPP suspension design, it delivers an unflappable ride character that absorbs chatter and high-impact hits with ease, without leaving you feeling over-biked. With an advanced composite construction, the Hightower frame balances stiffness with compliance, ensuring a responsive ride that does not compromise on comfort. A slack, 65-degree head angle eats up even steep descents, yet the steep seat tube angle provides an efficient climbing position. A flip-chip allows for geometry adjustment, with a high and low setting to meet the needs of a range of riders. In the low setting, the shock rate is more progressive - perfect for bombing your favourite descent at the trail centre. In typical Santa Cruz style, the frame is loaded with smart, trail-friendly features. A threaded bottom bracket sees creak-free performance, and the refined cable routing enhances shifting.
