GORE-TEX Upper
Constructed using a GORE-TEX upper, the boots are highly waterproof to keep your feet dry, cool and comfortable. The materials are highly durable to protect feet from varied conditions and provide a long-lasting, reliable pair of boots. A mesh and textile lining encases each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a healthier environment for your feet to thrive. The mid-height design prevents rocks or debris from entering the boots. Protection is key while out on the trails, so don't worry when wearing the X Ultra 360 Edge as it features a protective heel for rearfoot stability and a protective rubber toe cap to enhance protection from loose or sharp rocks. The tongue and collar are cushioned to keep them comfortable during adventures and traditional laces provide a locked-in, secure fit.
EnergyCell MidsoleWithin the midsole, the boots have injected and compressed EVA forming the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced will also be returned as a rebound, giving you a spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. In addition to this, between the outsole and the midsole, there is a new ADV-C chassis. This targets articulations on the outer foot to optimise stability without limiting your mobility while keeping the front of the shoe flexible for a more fluid ride. A moulded OrthoLite sockliner is extremely soft and comfortable and works to wick away moisture keeping the feet cool and dry.
