Textile Upper
Constructed using a textile upper, the Supercross 4 Trail Running Shoes have a stitch-free construction that provides a smooth, glove-like fit and feel. This updated upper ensures that your foot stays in place with every stride for added comfort and support throughout your runs. Connected to the upper on both sides is the tongue to prevent debris from entering the shoe and keep the tongue centred and comfortable against the foot. The stitch-free upper sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risk of chafing and irritability. Sensifit technology employs welded overlays to wrap the foot in a firm, customised fit; they help to anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. The upper also uses a super durable ripstop fabrication which resists the risk of wear and tear, to bring you a shoe perfect for any trail. Not only will the ripstop fabric reduce abrasion it will also allow the shoe to look newer for longer. Completing the upper is a Quick Lacing System which provides a minimalistic and strong lace for a one-pull tightening ensuring you get the shoes on and off with minimal effort. A lace pocket is useful as it allows the laces to be stowed away making sure the laces do not get caught or snagged on any sticks or bushes out on the trail, reducing distractions.
Fuze Surge Foam MidsoleWithin the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA which forms the Fuze Surge Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. An OrthoLite sockliner also exists underfoot to provide the foot with a cushioned and cooler environment, whilst also reducing the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing.
Contagrip Rubber OutsoleTackle any trails in supreme confidence that you won't be let down by your shoe's grip. Using Mud Contagrip, the outsole can form a solid grip between the shoe and uneven surfaces. Contagrip is built for maximum traction on varied terrain and is durable enough to withstand the toughest trails. Built with large lugs, the Supercross delivers optimum grip to keep you grounded on tough terrain. When you are running on wet and muddy ground, the shoe's deep chevron lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
