Outer Boot With a flex rating of 9, this boot is stiff, for experienced riders that need to be able to rely on their equipment at all times. The exclusive Power Frame provides a longer lasting and stiffer flex that is also supported by RPU inserts. The Malamute-exclusive removable Energizer H-Bars allow you to adapt the flex to your liking. The Trek EC+ outsole features Salomon exclusive technology for all mountain boots combining the rebound of Energy Cell+ and the stability of the VIBE compound. Liner Platinum 4D Liner - This liner gives you full support for your backcountry action and is precisely adjustable to your feet. With a special anatomic architecture, heel grip material, removable ankle guards, and an integrated heel strap, your foot will be locked down at all times to ensure a direct and reactive feel. You can customise the heat-moldable liner for superior fit and support. The Ortholite C3 footbed has a high-density base with memory foam and an extra EVA heel pad for impact dampening and support. The liner is fully washable and has zones of Quickdry material so you can ride again the next day. Lacing System The famous Powerlock lacing system comes with a secure zig-zag closure on the tongue and hooks, that don't get caught anywhere, on the upper side.
