We’re super excited to have the new 2024.25 Salomon Depart 01 on early release at Ellis Brigham, because it marks Salomon’s re-entry into the world of freestyle skis again. Not only does it look awesome with its retro-inspired graphics, but it’s also got some pretty unique shaping, with Sami Ortileb and some other pro riders leading the design on them. Looking at them, you’ll quickly notice that they’re not your typical symmetrical twin tip shape, with their distinctive pointy tip and squared-off tail, which give an impression of their smooth handling. They use a super stable 106mm waist that stomps tricks in the park or urban features, as well as in powder or slush, meaning you can take this ski practically anywhere and have fun jibbing about.
