The Salewa Alp Trainer 2 GORE-TEX is a low-cut alpine hiking and trekking shoe built for comfort during long mountain days. Designed to offer durable protection, the robust leather upper is made from high-quality suede, a full protective 360° rubber rand and lined with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane. The Salewa 3F System enables a precise, supportive, and wrapping fit thanks to the steel cable that ensures firm ankle support and lateral stability. This combines with the lacing system that allows adjustment right down to the toe for better performance on rock. An EVA midsole provides cushioning while, underfoot, the Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole provides enhanced performance and control in a wide range of mountain terrain and wet, muddy conditions due to its dedicated climbing, traction, and braking zones with aggressive lugs.
