Handsome set of 3 nesting lidded boxes, made from handcarved solid mango wood with natural wax finish. Inspired by a border on a 16thcentury fresco in the vaulted ceiling of the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Cecilia, also known as Albi Cathedral showing scenes from the Old and New Testaments.
