PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ORDERING White ash/ White smoke colour office desk with a top shelf/monitor stand made to match the desk, with custom size made at request. The desks are built using old wood made in a herringbone pattern, light sanded to a smooth finish while leaving some of the marks & imperfections of the old wood. Materials used - reclaimed wood planks, osb board, screws, nails, glue, stain & varnish all locally sourced MONITOR STAND/SHELF The optional monitor Stand/Shelf is included in the price, please mention it when you order. The shelf can be used to hold a monitor or as an extra space for your convenience. The length & width of the shelf will be made to fit the desk & can have a custom size at request, please mention when you order. COLOUR The desks are stained with your chosen colour & coated in natural wax or a satin/gloss varnish of your choice. The computer desk shown in the photographs has been finished with a White Ash stain & a clear satin varnish on top. NOTE - Please consider that the colour might look different depending on the reclaimed wood used on the desk, they will always have a slight difference in tones compared to the photos. This handcrafted writing/computer desk will make a statement in any home office, living room or bedroom. By using recycled wood each desk has it's own character, & would never look the same as another one. LEGS - Black colour & 3 Rod Hairpin style as Standard The legs are 3 rod metal hairpin style in black colour & they come as standard with the desk, if you wish another Colour please choose from the dropdown menu the custom colour option & mention the desired colour Available colours are (White, Washed Copper, Gold) Different types of legs are available as well, you can choose from the dropdown menu as extra. IMPERFECTIONS Please consider that off all imperfections, such as bumps, saw marks, hammer marks, marks of paint, etc. are not considered defects, as this is the character of the product that comes with using reclaimed wood. WOOD MOVEMENT All wood is organic & hygroscopic, meaning that when exposed to air, it will release or pick up moisture until it reaches equilibrium with the humidity in the air. Because of this, all wood will expand as it gains moisture & will shrink when it loses moisture. Wood also does not shrink or swell equally in all directions. PRODUCT CARE RECOmmENDATIONS We recommend avoiding keeping the table or bench too close or in direct contact with the radiator or any source of heating. This is real wood, & it will be affected by big differences in temperature. Also to be avoided humid conditions as it will make the wood expand.
