DuPont Kevlar is a heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibre which is highly cut/abrasion resistant. DuPont Kevlar is used in a variety of clothing, accessories, and equipment to help make them safer and more durable. With five times the strength of steel based on an equal weight basis, it s the go-to fibre for protective apparel and accessories.For rider protection, CE level 1 Knee Armour has been included, along with a pocket for hip armour to be included. The pocket for the Knee Armour to sit in allows for 3 different positions to ensure the best fit and coverage. The Jeans have been awarded a CE certification rating of A, meaning the protection on offer is deemed suitable for urban riding, with Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) requiring one second of abrasion resistance at 265.3rpm and half a second at 147.4rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet).Additional features include max zips being used throughout and four outer pockets for the storage of any essentials.
