Maxtex is a high denier synthetic fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. Ballistic is a densely woven, high weight synthetic fabric using fine fibres that offer extreme abrasion resistance along with cut and tear strength. This Jacket also has a removable quilted thermal liner which is ideal for riding in colder weather, which has been bonded with SinAqua Pro membrane. SinAqua Pro is an ultra-durable three-layer waterproof and breathable membrane which offers exceptional breathability 11500 g/m2/24h and a waterproof rating of over 15000mm/cm3. For additional comfort, there is also a fixed comfort mesh inner lining.For rider protection, CE Level 2 armour has been included for the Shoulders and Elbows, and the Shoulder cups have been made from TPU. This Jacket has a In&motion CE Back protector along with an In&motion Airbag System. In&Motion was founded in 2014 by three passionate engineers and 20 employees who were dedicated to wearable airbag systems. These systems have since been placed into partner brand garments, such as RST in order to provide an additional level of protection. This Airbag system is able to detect, protect and perfect. With 1000  analyses/second, the In&box measures the user s every  movements to detect a loss of balance. In less than 60 milliseconds, the airbag is inflated at the optimum pressure, protecting the user from  impacts. Thanks to the data collected, In&motion can regularly improve the system and detection strategy in order to better predict falls. The CE certification rating for this Jacket is AA, meaning the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).Additional features include Chest, Arm and Rear vents for airflow and ventilation to benefit the rider when riding in warmer conditions, a 360 degree connecting zip for use with RST pants and adjustment in the waist to achieve the best possible fit. The Jacket also has a removable map pocket and two outer pockets.The In&Motion In&Box is not supplied with the garment, it will be supplied directly to you within 72 hours once you register with In&Motion. Once registered, there is a monthly subscription of £12.00 per month or £120.00 per year if paid in advance. The subscription can be cancelled and re-activated whenever you like, but upon cancellation of your subscription, you will be required to send the In&Box back to In&Motion to complete the cancellation. The Airbag garment can still be used, but without the In&Box, the Airbag WILL NOT deploy.
