Maxtex is a high denier synthetic fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. The Jacket has two inner liners, one is a fixed comfort mesh to improve the feel, and the other is a fixed SinAqua waterproof lining. SinAqua is a three-layer durable waterproof and breathable membrane offering breathability of 5000 g/m2/24h and a waterproof rating of over 10000mm/cm3.For rider protection, CE level 1 armour has been included for the Shoulders and Elbows, and there is a pocket for a Back Protector to be added if required. The Jacket has been given an overall CE certification rating of A - the protection on offer is deemed suitable for urban riding, with Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) requiring one second of abrasion resistance at 265.3rpm and half a second at 147.4rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet).Additional features include a 360 degree connection zip for use with RST riding pants, 3 inner and two outer pockets for the storage of essentials, and adjustment in the arms to achieve the best possible fit.
