This surreal portrait photography art print displays a curios scene of birds either morphing from or into the hair of a serene young woman, very often included in the works of Himitsuhana. The portrait, birds aside, is largely regular but the surrealism is brought in by the presence of the obscure birds and the mystique behind the purpose and the lack of acknowledgement from the young women. We ask ourselves, as we very often do and as is the purpose of much of Himitsuhanas work, are the surroundings a manifestation of her own, a visual metaphor for her inner mind or a reflection of her character.
